Eben will tell about his journey since his near-death experience in 2008, and how life is never only one soul's journey: it is about a massive evolution of consciousness in which everyone partakes. What he learned changed everything he knew about the brain, mind, and consciousness and drove him to ask a question confounding the entire scientific community: How do you explain the origins of consciousness if it is not a byproduct of the brain? His challenge relates to a revolutionary shift now underway within our modern scientific understanding.
Eben and Karen will both talk about the value of regular meditation practice to strengthening our connection with the inner observer – allowing us to apply profound understanding and influence in the course of our daily lives.
