We are embedded in a tremendously elaborate biosphere or even noosphere (as Teilhard calls it) already, but cannot discern it due to our discontinuous view of reality.
— Philip K Dick, The Exegesis [56:J-29]
What did Philip K. Dick mean when he wrote that he had encountered the “noosphere”? Can we learn how to experience it ourselves? This online dialogue and discussion will guide participants towards an encounter with the noosphere through the texts of PKD and the 20th century sage and scholar Sri Aurobindo. By juxtaposing PKD's descriptions of and recipes for what he called "ultrathought" with Sri Aurobindo's scripts for the "supramental", we will collectively explore and experiment with the resonance between these fundamentally ecological models of mind and our own unique experiences of them, together. Just Say Yes to the Noosphere!
